We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join an established Wodonga GP clinic in a job share capacity.

Working collaboratively with the existing Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of this busy practice of six GPs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual to contribute to a thriving practice while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time, job share role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including staff management, rosters and resource allocation

• Ensure compliance with General Practice accreditation agencies and national standards

• Collaborate with your job share partner to maintain continuity of leadership and decision-making

• Support the delivery of excellent patient services, handling complaints and feedback effectively

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and implement practice policies

• Liaise with external stakeholders, such as PHN, other medical bodies and suppliers

About You

• Proven experience in healthcare management, ideally within a GP practice

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations, Medicare, financial management and HR processes

• Ability to work collaboratively in a job share arrangement, ensuring seamless handover

• Proficiency in practice management software (eg Best Practice) is desirable

• Commitment to patient-centred care and improving practice performance
