Maintenance Technician / Fitter

 

 

Full-time | $80k–$100k + super | Company vehicle

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician / Fitter to support and improve manufacturing operations across multiple sites.

This is a varied role covering preventative maintenance, breakdowns, installations and upgrades on engineering machinery and related machinery. You’ll also be involved in fabrication work and continuous improvement projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining production machinery (bearings, motors, chains, frames, PLC/PC controllers, compressors)

• Machinery modifications and new equipment installations

• Fabrication of racking, rollout tables and accessories

• General site maintenance (including trailers and plant)

• Contributing ideas to improve machinery, safety and processes

About you:

• Trade-qualified Fitter / Maintenance Technician (or equivalent experience)

• Skills across welding, fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics (electrical / programming experience helpful but not essential)

• Practical problem-solver with a proactive approach to maintenance

• Comfortable with regional travel (Wagga, Shepparton, Bendigo, Bathurst)

The details:

• Hours generally 6:00am–2:30pm or 6:30am–3:00pm (some flexibility required)

• Weekend work rare (breakdowns only)

• Salary $80k–$100k + super

• Company vehicle provided (restricted private use)
