About the role
You will lead the day-to-day operations of a busy specialist practice, ensuring smooth service delivery while supporting and managing a small administration team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance team management, operational oversight and patient service excellence.
You will play a key role in ensuring the practice continues to run efficiently while supporting both the team and Directors. Your leadership will directly influence patient experience, team culture, and the ongoing growth of the business.

About the role
You will lead the day-to-day operations of a busy specialist practice, ensuring smooth service delivery while supporting and managing a small administration team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance team management, operational oversight and patient service excellence.
- Standard hours are 9am – 5pm, with occasional 11am – 7pm shift to support afternoon clinic operations
- Flexible work options – 4 days per week or 7-day fortnight for the right person
- Attractive salary package based on your experience
- Previous experience in a medical practice leadership or senior administration role
- Knowledge of processing Medicare claims, DVA outpatient billings and private health funds
- Experience using Genie, Gentu, or similar medical software
- Strong people leadership skills and the ability to manage a busy team
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to support practice management with reporting, quality and accreditation audits and workflow improvements
You will play a key role in ensuring the practice continues to run efficiently while supporting both the team and Directors. Your leadership will directly influence patient experience, team culture, and the ongoing growth of the business.
