We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to service customers throughout the Mildura, Riverland and Adelaide regions. This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-qualified technician who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with customers across the food processing and packaging sectors.

This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical capability with excellent customer service — a technician who not only fixes equipment, but also builds confidence, communicates clearly, and represents the business professionally on every site visit.
  As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of industrial equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Providing technical support and customer service on-site
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and site personnel
• Ensuring customers are kept informed of service outcomes, maintenance recommendations and equipment performance
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation accurately and professionally
• Working independently across multiple customer sites
• Representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner at all times

• Develop strong working relationships with customers, operators, maintenance teams and production personnel
• Understand customer operational requirements and provide practical, outcome-focused solutions
• Respond professionally and positively to customer enquiries, concerns and service requirements
• Explain technical issues, repairs and recommendations in a clear and customer-friendly way
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and improve customer outcomes
• Provide timely updates regarding repairs, maintenance activities, parts requirements and recommended next steps

We are looking for candidates with:

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical experience
• Trade qualification (Certificate III) in one of the following:

• Maintenance Fitting
• Mechanical Fitting
• Electrical Trade
• Automotive Mechanic
• Related industrial trade

• Ability to fault-find and troubleshoot equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to customers
• A proactive approach to customer support and problem resolution
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to travel within the service region

Previous experience within any of the following industries will be advantageous:

• Food manufacturing
• Fruit packing and processing facilities
• Labelling equipment
• Packaging machinery
• Conveying systems
• Industrial automation and production equipment

• Competitive salary package of $87,000 – $95,000 + Super
