Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS) is looking for an OHT to join the friendly and supportive multidisciplinary health team.
AWAHS is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation providing culturally appropriate primary health care and support services to the Aboriginal community across the Albury Wodonga region.
This is an opportunity to use your clinical skills in a community health environment where prevention, education, relationships and better long-term health outcomes really matter.
About the role
Working as part of the AWAHS dental and broader health team you will provide oral health assessment, treatment, prevention and education to our clients.
Your work will include preventative oral health care, restorative treatment, oral health education and promotion, clinical assessment and referral, together with supporting patients to improve their ongoing oral health and wellbeing.
The role is currently envisaged as 2–3 days per week, and we are happy to have a conversation about working arrangements that may suit the right person.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A recognised Bachelor of Oral Health or Bachelor of Oral Health Science and appropriate professional registration;
- experience or an interest in oral health therapy and preventative care;
- strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team; and
- a genuine interest in improving health outcomes within the Aboriginal community.
