Days and Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 5 pm. (5 days per week)
Duties include:
Answer phone promptly in a courteous and professional manner
Schedule patient appointments
Bill and receipt of patient accounts
Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
Operate all aspects of the EFTPOS machine, handle insurance claims / Medicare
Scanning patient documents
Prepare documents for mail-out & electronic distribution
Enter data as required with a high level of accuracy
General housekeeping of the practice
Assisting the Practice Manager when required
Use of Genie medical software
Successful Candidate attributes:
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
Medical Reception experience
“Corporate” presentation
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Possess the ability to work independently and as part of the team
Use of Genie medical software is preferable
Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality
Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
