  • TWO positions - Albury and Wodonga
  • $26.60 p/h +11.5% superannuation + excellent salary packing tax benefits
  • This is an Identified Aboriginal position. Only applicants with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island heritage will be considered
Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS) is dedicated to delivering high-quality Health Care Services to the Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander community in Albury, Wodonga, and surrounding areas.

We are seeking two reliable and community-focused Transport Drivers to safely transport AWAHS clients to and from their medical and specialist appointments on time and assist with the delivery of patient scripts.

This role plays a vital part in promoting AWAHS services while ensuring that transport support remains accessible, safe, and culturally respectful.


You will also be required to:
  • Maintain high standards when interacting with clients, service providers, and the public.
  • Conduct weekly vehicle checks, cleaning, fuelling, and report scheduled services to the Transport Coordinator.
  • Maintain medical journey records and complete vehicle logbooks.
  • Prepare written reports on transport activities when requested.
  • Assist with phone calls and appointment bookings and actively promote AWAHS services.
The ideal candidates will have:
  • An excellent driving record with the expectation to provide a current driving history report as part of the selection process.
  • A strong knowledge of the Albury and Wodonga area.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with the local Aboriginal community.
  • Proven organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A current Driver's licence
