Practice Nurse (RN) - major GP clinic
Wodonga, VIC · Healthcare- $40 - $46/hr dependent on skills and experience
- Full time preferable, but consider Part Time
Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a growing, dynamic GP clinic? Join this supportive team in Wodonga and enjoy a fulfilling role dedicated to patient care and health improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of clinical duties, including triage, immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, and iron infusions
- Assist doctors with procedures, maintain clinical documentation, and provide patient reassurance
- Manage vaccine stock, cervical screening, and patient recall systems
- Conduct patient education, community health promotion, and preventative health screenings
- Provide nursing home visits as required including antenatal and post-natal care and health assessments
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterilisation, and WHS standards
- Registered Nurse qualifications and current APHRA registration
- Immunisation certificate preferred
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient care and education
- Experience in infection control coordination and compliance management is highly regarded
