We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to provide outstanding front-of-house support to a busy team of medical specialists. You’ll be working in a stimulating, fast-paced environment where your professionalism, empathy, and organisational skills will be truly valued. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Answering phones promptly and professionally
Scheduling patient appointments
Billing and receipting patient accounts
Managing messages – verbal, written, and electronic
Processing Medicare claims and EFTPOS transactions
Scanning and managing patient documentation
Preparing correspondence for mail-out and digital distribution
Accurate data entry
Maintaining cleanliness and order in reception areas
Assisting the Practice Manager as required
Using Genie / Gentu medical software (experience preferred)
Prior experience in a medical reception or specialist practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
Professional presentation and phone manner
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
Comfortable working independently and within a team
A proactive, can-do attitude with a compassionate and empathetic nature
