Manager / Senior Manager – Business Services & Advisory

An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join a progressive medium-sized CA firm Business Advisoryteam in Albury Wodonga. You’ll work closely with SMEs, private family groups, and high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of industries — helping them make confident decisions, grow sustainably, and achieve their goals.
This is a role for someone who wants to go beyond compliance. You’ll become a trusted advisor, building meaningful client relationships, solving complex challenges, and contributing to their long-term success. You will not need to do any accounts processing – this is all handled for you. You’ll also be supported by a national network of professionals who value collaboration, innovation, and career growth.
What you will do:
Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service and strategic insights
Lead client discussions and provide tailored business and tax advisory solutions
Review complex financial statements, tax returns, and group consolidations
Advise on key tax planning and structuring matters, including Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and GST
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and quality standards
Contribute to business development activities and strengthen client relationships
Identify process improvements and drive positive change within the team
What we want:
CA/CPA qualified, with solid experience in an Australian public practice environment
Strong technical expertise in business services, compliance, and advisory
Commercially minded with a genuine curiosity about clients’ businesses
Skilled communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Leadership experience with the ability to coach and inspire others
Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement
Confident using digital tools and cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, MS Office)
