They are fully accredited to ISO 45001 so systems and processes are in place. Safety is at the core of everything they do, so they need a dedicated WHS professional to drive the safety culture forward.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
✅ Developing, implementing, and maintaining WHS policies and procedures
✅ Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and audits
✅ Ensuring compliance with ISO45001 and all relevant WHS legislation and standards
✅ Leading safety training and toolbox talks for employees
✅ Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
✅ Collaborating with management and site teams to foster a strong safety culture
You are someone who takes workplace health and safety seriously with:
✔ Proven experience in a WHS role, ideally in construction or industrial electrical contracting
✔ Strong knowledge of NSW Work Health & Safety laws and regulations
✔ Qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Cert IV or Diploma preferred)
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills
✔ Ability to work proactively and independently
