As a result of upcoming retirement, this business is now seeking a qualified and experienced WHS / OHS Manager.
Our client is a leading industrial electrical contracting company employing over 100 staff delivering electrical solutions to industries across the region.
They are fully accredited to ISO 45001 so systems and processes are in place. Safety is at the core of everything they do, so they need a dedicated WHS professional to drive the safety culture forward.
The Role You will be responsible for: ✅ Developing, implementing, and maintaining WHS policies and procedures ✅ Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and audits ✅ Ensuring compliance with ISO45001 and all relevant WHS legislation and standards ✅ Leading safety training and toolbox talks for employees ✅ Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions ✅ Collaborating with management and site teams to foster a strong safety culture

What We’re Looking For ✔ Proven experience in a WHS role, ideally in construction or industrial electrical contracting ✔ Strong knowledge of NSW Work Health & Safety laws and regulations ✔ Qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Cert IV or Diploma preferred) ✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills ✔ Ability to work proactively and independently
