We’re seeking a qualified WHS Leader to support regional operations for a national contracting business. This is a hands-on role combining field-based safety engagement with systems, compliance and ISO systems management.
About the role
Reporting to the GM People, Culture & Safety, you’ll partner with leaders and frontline teams to drive a strong safety culture while ensuring systems and processes remain compliant, practical and effective.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing on-site HSEQ support, coaching and safety observations
- Managing and maintaining ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Leading audits, incident investigations and reporting
- Driving continuous improvement across safety and compliance frameworks
- Supporting policy development, business continuity planning and system enhancements
- Managing client pre-qualifications and compliance reporting
About you:
- Experience in a HSEQ/WHS role (construction, trades or industrial preferred)
- Qualified in Workplace Health & Safety
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage systems and reporting
- Proactive, practical and confident working both in the field and office
