The shifts are Full-time, Part-time or Casual, AM, PM or Nights across a 7-day roster. Be more than a carer – be the reason someone smiles today! You will:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a respectful and dignified manner
Support residents to maintain independence while tailoring care to their individual preferences, cultural background, beliefs and life experiences
Monitor, observe and report any changes in physical, mental or emotional wellbeing to the clinical team
Ensure safe and effective personal care practices, including infection prevention and control, adherence to individualised care plans and the use of appropriate equipment
Maintain accurate, timely and confidential documentation, including daily care notes, incident reports, resident preferences and communication
Uphold residents’ rights to dignity, choice, privacy and identity in all aspects of care
Work within a Scope of Practice, following organisational policies & procedures, our Code of Conduct and safety guidelines
Receive excellent remuneration and salary packaging benefits up to $18,500 per annum
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
Kindness, humour and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Minimum one year experience in an aged care facility
Experience in dementia care or palliative care
A desire to learn with ongoing professional development and participation in continuous quality programs
A positive team approach to caring
The ability to follow policies, processes and instructions
